The Alvarez Yairi DY 72 was a 12 string dreadnought shaped acoustic guitar. The top was solid cedar top with mahogany back, sides and neck. Inlays were abalone shell for the rosette and headstock logo, a pearl and abalone slash inlay on the 12th fret, and even black abalone dots on the bridge pins. Machine heads were gold coloured and finish was natural. Made from around 1989 to 1997.
