The HEAVY STUD (GE-150) was made in Japan between 1973 and 1975. It had a telecaster shaped body - but with a different scratchplate and control layout.The head stock is not at all like a tele with a three-a-side machine heads and "heavy stud" and the Ampeg logo painted on. The model number (GE-150) is printed on the bell shaped truss-rod cover.
