Dates of manufacture:

1967

Earl F. Anderson of Anderbilt patented this ususal and elegant electric guitar design in 1967. It has two large cut-outs in the body and one in the headstock. The design was probably intended to use the Anderbilt floating neck. It is unknown whether this design actually went into production, I've never seen one.

This particular model was never produced but a solid body with the original neck suspension system was.
the neck suspension system was redesigned with a totaly differnt aproach and was used in a unique looking open model. Reverand Anderson and I worked together in the perfection of the new model in the late 80's. Bro Anderson was an Assembly of God minister and played the new model in church every Sunday as long as health permitted. His goal in developing the floating neck was to get more expression much like a violinist plays. After his death 8 or 10 years ago his family presented his guitar to me in honor of our friendship. I will always cherish the guitar and our friendshipe
