The Aria Pro II PE 600 was introduced around 1978 as part of the Aria Pro II Prototype Series. The PE 600 had an unbound Les Paul style sycamore body with a sharp single cutaway - as well as Aria's heel-less set neck joint and contoured back. It has a relatively large bridge for a Les Paul style guitar which perhaps contributes to sustain. Machine heads were Aria MG-55C units. Pickups were two Aria Protomatic-IV units. This model had been discontinued by ARIA by 1992.
