This is a 3/4 sized sitar that was damaged when Tom Bingham bought it. After a complete refurbishment he put a set of Martin Medium strings on it. At first he tried to tune it to standard tuning but soon abandoned this idea. In the pictures it is strung with 6 main playing strings and at least another 8 drone strings underneath. Tom says it can still be played quite easily with practice. Its electric passive pickup has a tone and volume control with a jack plug at the bottom.
