Acacia Guitars was founded in 2011 by Scott Lienhard and his brother Greg in their parents' garage. Scott Lienhard studied furniture design and stringed instrument making and is the lead designer of the Acacia body shapes, headstock designs and construction. Their brother Tom also joined the business in 2016.
