AK Admiral electric guitars and basses were made in the early 1980s in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) Russia by the Leningrad Production Association for the Production of Musical Instruments. They were much higher quality than other Soviet era guitars but unfortunately  they were not a success and very few were made.
