The Amazing Musical Instrument Company was founded by Mike Zimmerman in 1987 in Toronto, Canada. A.M.I.C. made electric violins, guitars, bass guitars, and electric mandolins as well as electric cellos and upright basses. The company stopped trading in 1989 after making around 400 instruments in total.
