Annette Stephany is a German luthier who has been making guitars and other plucked instruments since 2003.She studied for 3 years at the Mittenwald luthier school in Germany and then worked for the master luthier Lorenzo Frignani in Modena (Italy) from 2006 to 2009. While there she became interested in restoration of antique instruments, and to learn more about new techniques and procedures of restoration she visited Bernd Kresse's workshop in Cologne (Germany) for half a year. She started her own business in 2010, first in Coburg (Germany) then Cologne and finally in the town of Schweinfurt in Lower Franconia where she builds classical concert guitars and restores antique and modern plucked instruments.
