Kevin Aram has been making classical guitars since the late 1970s. For the first ten or so years of his business he combined making with restoring and repairing which gave him the chance to study fine guitars by: Vicente Arias, Domingo Esteso, Arcangel Fernandez, Ignacio Fleta, Herman Hauser 1st, Santos Hernandez, Manuel Ramirez, Jose Romanillos and David Rubio. In 1991 he moved to North Devon and since then he has focused on smaller Spruce top guitars in the Torres and Hauser tradition. His customers include many professional musicians including Julian Bream.
