Auden Guitars is a Northamptonshire, UK based steel stringed acoustic guitar manufacturer which launched its first range of guitars in September 2013. Auden guitar bodies are hand made in a small workshop in China by a group of highly skilled luthiers, using traditional methods and the best materials (including AAA grade spruce and cedar tops with tight even grain, solid Rosewood back and sides, mahogany necks and ebony fingerboards). These bodies are then sent to Auden's Northamptonshire workshop for final assembly and set-up with high quality components including Schertler electronics.

In 2015 Auden aquired the venerable Gordon Smith Guitars brand (established 1974 in the UK) which continues to trade as a stand alone business producing hand crafted British built electric guitars.
