Bacchus is a brandname of the Japanese Deviser company used for electric guitars since 1994. The Bacchus Handmade Series are made by hand in Japan without the use of CNC machines. The Bacchus Craft Series are also made in Japan but are cheaper due to the use of outsourced wood components. The Bacchus Global Series are the budget Bacchus line and are not made in Japan but in other Asian factories (including Korea) - but are nevertheless high quality instruments.

Bacchus also uses the BCG brand (Bacchus Custom Guitar) on the export-oriented products of Bacchus instruments. In some countries Bacchus appears as BCG and may offer specially customized models which are not listed in the regular line up.
