The Bernie Rico Junior brand was launched in 2005. Bernie Rico Jr. was the son of Bernie Rico Sr. the founder of B.C. Rich guitars.  Bernie Jr. produced a line of hand-carved guitars and basses. Bernie Jr. died in 2020.
