The Blakhart brand was launched in 2012, by Chad Petit, as an electric guitar brand aimed squarely at the heavy metal guitarist. Blakhart instruments are made in China (pre 2013) or Korea (2013 onwards), although some models are assembled and finished in the USA from imported parts. In 2015 David Zeus took over the running of Blakhart from Chad Petit.
