Bodkin Guitars was the brand name of John C Martin. Martin was a student of Ivon Shmuckler, Brad Nickerson, William Cumpiano, Thomas Knatt, Bill Moll, and Bob Zatzmann. Circa 2009 John Martin was offering three standard acoustic models: a concert sized model, the JM model and a Kasha braced model.
