Boguslaw Teryks was born in Breslau, Poland but has been living in Mainz, Germany since 1984. He has been making guitars since 1980 and specialises in classical guitars. Teryks has been awarded prizes at the International Guitar Making Contest held in Gdansk in 1995, 1997, 1999 and 2003, and has passed the examination at The European Guitar Making Center in Mittenwald. His guitar soundhole labels feature a picture of himself.
