Brian Stone made classical guitars in Corvallis, Oregon. Stone had many years experience as a classical and Jazz guitarist. His standard instruments were built based on Segovia's famous '37 Hauser with Master Grade woods including, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Honduras Mahogany with Ebony neck, and Sitka Spruce, Cedar, or European Spruce soundboards. They used Gilbert tuning machines but Sloane and Rogers tuning machines were available as well. The preferred finish was French Polish.
