Carlson Guitars and Amplifiers began making guitars in 1998. Initially they both handmade guitars in the USA and also imported guitars and parts for assembly and final setup in the USA. Carlson Musical Instruments Wholesale, LLC. was founded in Jan. 2001. In 2008 Carlson Musical Instruments restructured manufacturing and began making all instruments at their factory at Clackamas, Oregon. New models were introduced after the purchase of CNC Machinery in 2008.
