CB Hill has been building, repairing and restoring fine guitars and stringed instruments since 1990. CB created the Speedster in 1994 electric guitar design, which he has since refined into the current model. As he learned about construction & repair of the violin family of instruments, he began to use those techniques to make archtop acoustic guitars, which opened up a whole new frontier for him with the Corvette, Clipper & Regatta models. In 2004, CB felt it was time for him to branch out on his own. He started CB Hill Guitars and rented space at Rockit Music in Brea CA, where he continued building & repairing guitars until 2012 when he was able to move his shop closer to his home in Huntington Beach CA, where he's currently working.
