Bill Comins is a Philadelphia based luthier who established Comins Handcrafted Artisan Guitars in 1989. Bill Comins is a guitar player, who studied jazz guitar at Temple University and worked as a musician and music teacher before he moved into his career in luthiery. Comins specialises in archtop jazz guitars but also offers a nylon string jazz model and solid body electrics. In addition to the handcrafted Comins Artisan series models Comins also offers a more affordable range, the Comins Guitar Craft series, which are made in Korea.
