Nehemiah Covey started building his own acoustic guitars, becuase he could afford to buy a top end custom instrument. He soon had people talking and asking for one of his guitars. He launched Covey's Guitars around 2005, offereing steel stringed acoustics and ukuleles, but as of 2017 his website was inactive
