DBZ guitars was established in 2008 by Dean B Zelinsky (founder of Dean guitars), Jeff Diamant and Terry Martin. Headquarted in Houston, Texas, DBZ produced guitars at a range of price points - the most expensive being the USA Series which were made in Northbrook, Illinois, followed by the Japanese made Infinity Series. The entry level models were made in Korea. In 2012 Dean B. Zelinsky parted ways with Diamant and Martin and the DBZ company was renamed first DBZ/Diamond and then Diamond Guitars.
