Death by Audio effects pedals are hand made in Queens, New York. D.B.A. was founded in 2002 by Oliver Ackermann and moved from Virginia to Williamsburg, Brooklyn around 2005. They operated it as a combined effects pedal factory, music venue, recording studio, and live-work space until 2014 when the workshop moved to Queens.
