Italian luthier Micheke Della Giustina was born in Vittorio Veneto in 1962, and has been making guitars since 1991. Della Giustina is involved in teaching guitar making - this began after meeting Japanese luthier Kazuo Sato which lead to a collaboration with the Niibori Guitar Music Academy in Japan and in 2003 he was a guest in their Tokyō headquarters for a seminar on guitar making. Participation at two GFA Conventions (Montreal 2004 – Atlanta 2006) opened the doors to the American market. In 2007 he was a guest at the Shanghai Conservatory for a seminar on guitar making, where his guitars soon became highly appreciated. He is also a specialist in the restoration of antique instruments, and since 2014 has been the curator of the collection of ancient guitars “El Siglo de Oro de la Guitarra Española” owned by GuitArt Magazine. Nowadays his guitars are played by musicians from Japan, USA, China, South Corea, Taiwan, Colombia, several EU countries and, of course, Italy.
