Vincent "Jimmy" DiSerio was one of John D'Angelico two assistants. He worked with D'Angelico from 1932 to 1960 before opening his own workshop in Manhattan. DiSerio is less well known than D'Angelico's other assistant James D'Aquisto who joined him in 1952 and went on to become a legendary archtop maker in his own right.
