Dan Dubowski is a self taught maker of acoustic guitars and mandolin family instruments. Dubowski holds formal qualifications in the Fitting and Machining trade as well as an Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.  Working from a home based workshop in the hills of the southern New South Wales town of Batlow. Circa 2005 he was making 1-2 instruments per month. Dan handmade each instrument using select timber from a range of Australian native and exotic tonewood species. Dubowski also offered Irish bouzoukis.
