Edwards guitars and basses have been made by ESP for the Japanese market since 1975. There are currently three main series: the Edwards Original Series are original designs. The Edwards Traditional Series are copies of Fender and Gibson models . The Edwards Laquer Taste Series - includes similar models to the Original Series but presumably feature nitro-laquer finish. There is also the Edwards Platinum Edition series of models which are limited edition handcrafted stratocasters and P-basses.
