Dave Falk makes archtop guitars, mandolins and recently dulcimers. Falk started out in Kansas City, Missouri but moved Amarillo, Texas where he hand builds instruments. He initially trained as an artist in Maryville, Missouri gaining degrees in art and education. He credits his main instrumental influences to the Gibson - Lloyd Loar - Jim Triggs line. Seminars with Bob Benedetto also informed his archtop building style.
