Luis Alberto Feu de Mesquita grew up in Spain, making his first guitar while still in his teens. He then worked as a mechanical engineer, making guitars in his spare time. After some years he became a full time guitar maker and refined his skills under the tuition of Segei de Jonge. He now runs Luis Feu de Mesquita guitars in Greenwood, Ontario where he specializes in making nylon-string instruments – Classical, Flamenco, Jazz and Baroque guitars as well as Ukuleles.
