Frank Finocchio  started making guitars since the 1980s and specializes in classical, archtop and steel string guitars. Finocchio also teaches lutherie and restoration. Finocchio worked for Martin where he developed many new processes including the manufacturing process for the Martin DX guitar. In 19968 Finocchio left Martin to make his own guitars and mandolins and teach instrument making
