Information:

Ignacio Fleta was a Spanish luthier who lived from 1897 to 1977. Fleta came from a family of cabinet makers and he initially built a variety of stringed and historical instruments. He was inspired by Andrés Segovia to focus on guitar making. By the 1960s to the 1970s he was considered one of the world's best classical guitar makers. Following his death in 1977 Ignacio's son Gabriel carried on making Ignacio Fleta e Hijos guitars until his own death in 2012. Gabriel Fleta Jiménez (grandson of Ignacio) now carries on the tradition.
