Gaban was a brand name of the Japanese Fukuhara Gakki Corporation in the 1970s. Gaban guitars were typically Gibson and Fender copies which were made by Kasuga (best known as an OEM maker for Yamaha). Gaban catalogs and adverts were in Japanese - indicating that Gaban instruments were produced for the Japanese domestic market.
