Gary Demos has been a woodworker and musician for most of his life and combined the two pursuits in 1991 by establishing Gary Demos Guitars. His first instrument was a small Queen Anne style lap harp from scratch, he then moved to mountain dulcimers, and finally guitars. He currently builds and repairs classical and acoustic guitars as a serious hobby.
