Gerundino Miguel Fernández García (1931–2006) was a renowned maker of flamenco guitars. Gerundino was born in Almería, Spain. He developed wood working skills as a cabinet maker before starting to build guitars full-time in 1958. In 1960 he established his own workshop in Almería, where he made guitars at the rate of around one per month until he retired in 1999. Gerundino's guitars were sought after and played by famous guitarists like: Paco Peña, Paco de Lucia and Eric Clapton.
