Gherson was an Italian brand established by Alfredo Menghini in Recanati which produced guitars from 1968 to 1983. As well as Gherson, Menghini's company also used the brand names Wonder and Daytime. Gershon instruments were typically copies of the popular American models - especially Les Paul and SG style guitars. In 1983 the company was taken over by Beltuna.
