Trevor Gore started making guitars in 1990. He is known for his high quality classical, flamenco and acoustic guitars. Gore is comitted to innovation and uses a scientific approach to guitar design. His innovations include, Falcate bracing, carbon fibre reinforced bridges, heavy sides and individual sounboard thicknessing based on measurement of the material's properties. He documented his approach (in collaboration with Gerard Gilet) in the books Contemporary Acoustic Guitar Design and Contemporary Acoustic Guitar Build.
