Gronlund guitars are made by James Green a luthier since 2010 who trained at the Roberto Venn Guitar Luthiery School. Previously Greene had many different jobs from carpentry, to farmhand, to working on oil rigs. He is currently making electric guitars in his home state of Maine, using mainly North American hardwoods such as Old Growth Redwood, varying types of figured Maple, Swamp Ash, Claro Walnut and New England Black Walnut.
