Swedish luthier Per Hallgren began making classical and acoustic guitars as a hobby in 1986. Since 1992 he has been making classical and flameco guitars as a full time career. Hallgren was one of the first in northern Europe to make double-topped classical guitars and invented the technique of routing the top for the Nomex layer.
