Information: 

Harwood was a brand name of J.W. Jenkins & Sons Music Co. of Kansas City for mandolins, acoustic guitars and harp guitars. Although the guitars were sometimes marked "Harwood - New York" they were actually made in Kansas city from the 1890s until around 1911. Later Hardwood instruments were made by the big Chicago manufacturers like Regal.
