Colby Horton makes acoustic guitars in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Born in 1986 he first became interested in making guitars as a teenager.  He bought guitarmaking & woodworking books and in 2002 started work on his first guitar which took about a year to finish. He makes only a handful of guitars each year, because he also has a regular full time job. His aim is not to start a factory, or even open a shop with employees, but to be able to enjoy making great guitars in as stress free an environment as possible.
