Hutchinson Guitar Concepts was founded in the UK by James Hutchinson in 2011. He specialises in unique custom guitars, designed and built to order. His guitars often feature metal tops and his designs have been inspired by Norse & Mayan mythology, Sci-Fi, Space & Steam Punk. Hutchinson often modifies existing guitars (like his ESP Snakebyte Steel Top made for James Hetfield) but he can also build guitars to customer specifications. In 2014 he launched his original design Limulus model electric guitar - a single cutaway model with a very high arched body carve. His work is so popular that circa 2022 he temporarily closed his waiting list to allow him to finish existing orders.
