Information: 

Anthony J Huvard made his first electric guitar in 1964. He apprenticed with George Gilmore at the University of Hawaii in 1969 before running the repair department at Honolulu's Guitar & Lute workshop. He began training other instrument makers in the early 1970s before moving to Seattle in 1975 and establishing a private Studio in Greenlake District. While in Seattle Huvard launched the Northwest School of Instrument Design which offered a full time year long training course. He relocated to Virginia in 1981 after starting a family and carried on teaching guitar making
