James R Watts started building instruments in 1994. He specialises in acoustic and classical guitars using a variety of different styles of tops. These tops range from standard Martin style X bracing to lattice braced tops in the style of Greg Smallman, double tops and the hybrid "X-fan" inspired by the designs of Jeff Elliot.
