The Josef Lidl company was established in 1892 in Brno, Moravia and is the oldest manufacturer of instruments in the Czech Republic. Although Josef Lidl is best known for making brass instruments there are also Josef Lidl branded guitars and string instruments. The stringed instruments were made by other Czech companies like Cremona and Strunal.
