Information:

William C. Kelday started out as an instrument repairer and electric guitar maker before leaving Scotland to study Classical Guitar making at The London College of Furniture in 1986. He then returned to Scotland where he opened his own workshop and also taught instrument repair.
In 1990 he set up a workshop in Campsie Glen with the violin maker Neil Baird - who became a great friend and teacher. This partnership lasted five years under the banner of The Fiddle and Guitar Shop, until Neil Baird died. He now has a workshop in Fintry shared with cello and violin maker Sheena Laurie. They have resurrected "The Fiddle and Guitar Shop" in memory of Neil.
