- electric guitars
The Kid's brand name was used in the 1980s and 1990s by Japanese Luthier Hiroshi Kido. Kido left ESP to establish his own brand in the 1980s. Each Kid's guitar was hand made by Hiroshi in his small Tokyo workshop. Kido often made close replicas of guitars used by famous players, going to great lengths to use the same materials as used in the originals. Illness meant he stopped making guitars around 1999. Since then he has had aquired almost mythical status, and his guitars are extremely hard to find.
