Brian Kiernan apprenticed as a guitar maker in New York in the 1970s. Now based in Kainaliu, Hawaii his focus is mainly archtop guitars. His models include the Magic Christian - dedicated to Charlie Christian and the T-Bone Special - an archtop in the spirit of the Gibson ES-350. He also makes a fully acoustic archtop - called the Full Monty and since 2006, K-Side ukuleles.
