Paul Languedoc made his first guitar at the age of 18 and went on to work for Alan Stack of Time Guitars in Vermont.  From 1986 to 2004 he was a soundman for rock group Phish & also made instruments for the band members. In 2006 he established Paul Languedoc Guitars, selling handmade instruments through his web site. In 2017 Paul Languedoc Guitars offered two models of electric guitar: the G2 and G4.
