Lapstick guitars are made by Phil Neal in Rheine, Germany. The Lapstick is a small travel guitar with a scale length 3/4 of a normal electric guitar. He Lapstick is usuallye tuned up a minor third (G) to a fifth (B) higher than normal. It is comes with a battery-powered preamp which allows headphones to be plugged directly into the guitar.
