Little Guitar Works is operated by Jerome Little. Little attended the Formentera Guitar Building Institute on the Spanish island of Formenter and also graduated in music and acoustics from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. While still at Hampshire Jerome received a grant from the Lemelson Foundation for Invention, Innovation, and Creativity, which supported the research, design, and construction of his Torzal ergonomic electric bass. In 1996, Jerome displayed the Torzal at the Smithsonian Institute’s Museum of American History. Jerome has worked for Parker Guitars, Collings Guitars and luthiers Luke Wilson and Lance McCollum. Jerome lives in Austin, Texas where he mostly makes basses, but also electric and acoustic guitars
